 Maria Luiza Abbott
A journalist with expertise in economics and finance, Maria Luiza was a senior reporter for Jornal do Brasil, senior reporter and columnist for O Globo, London correspondent for Valor Econômico and Folha de São Paulo, and producer at the BBC, also in London. With a Master’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Cardiff, in 1998 Maria Luiza won the Esso Award for Journalism in the Reporting category.

Graduated in Journalism at the Casper Libero University in SaoPaulo, has lived in Europe for the past 20 years and speaks 5 languages: Portuguese, English, Italian, French and Spanish.
